This 4 week Basic Sewing Workshop is especially designed for those who have never attempted to use a sewing machine, or those who have tried and gave up.
Embark on an adventure of seams and stitches. We will start by making a simple napkin or table runner, then gradually to more complicated projects of your choice. You will learn to thread your machine and bobbin, different settings and stitches on your machine.
Skills you will learn:
1. Sewing machine vocabulary.
2. How to wind a bobbin and thread the machine.
3. What different stitches do and when to use them.
4. How to operate the machine and practice sewing.
5. To build from these basic skills for future projects.
Carol has taught the basics of sewing for 50+ years. Come learn to sew in a relaxed friendly atmosphere and start exploring the unlimited sewing projects that await your new found skills you will learn in this class.
Ages: 15+ and Adults
Class 3 minimum/6 maximum participants – (please note: if attendance does not meet minimum, class will be rescheduled)
