To be rescheduled. If you are interested in taking this class, please email: spark@thecuriousforge.org.
This workshop will encourage the participant to step out into nature and take time to ‘see’ pattern, form and color in nature with a clarity that can enhance design in Fiber Arts. This workshop will encourage the participant to move past comfortable and long held habits of design.
Pattern, Form and Color form the foundation of all fiber arts design. Fluency in translating patterns, forms and colors around you – into weaving drafts, sewing/knitting/crocheting patterns, felt structures and spinning/dyeing spectra will enhance the depth, power and beauty of your craft.
This workshop will be helpful to fiber artists – weavers, spinners, knitters, felters, crocheters, quilters and seamstresses. It is equally accessible to folks who work with jewelry and clay if interested.
