Members Only! Stone Set Jewelry Pendant
4-session skillshare series with Karen Olsen Ramsey – Demonstration and Hands-on project
oin Karen in the jewelry lab for a series of demonstrations on Tuesday nights in March. Working with copper, brass, silver, and agate, we will be building a stone set pendant from start to finish, like the one in this photo. Skills covered will be design, soldering, sawing, drilling, texturing, bezel setting, tube riveting, pin riveting, polishing, patina, chain embellishments and clasp fabrication.
Each demonstration will be approximately 1 1/2 hour long, followed by work time allowing participants to fabricate their own pendant along with Karen.
The demonstrations are free for ALL Forge members, with a $40 materials kit available to purchase if desired, payable to Karen. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials instead.

- Hands-on work along 7:30-9:00

About The Facilitator

Karen Olsen Ramsey
Karen's passion for jewelry began as a child collecting pebbles and shells along the Pacific Coast. After studying jewelry making at the University of Illinois and training at the Revere Academy in San Francisco, she built her dream studio on 20 acres in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. Inspired by the surrounding nature, she creates exquisite pieces using complementary metals and precious stones.
Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.

Please review our cancellation policy before booking. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us at least 7 days before the class start time to receive a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.
