Have you ever regretted traveling with too much stuff? You’ll learn how to minimize your gear & clothing for what you ACTUALLY need. We’ll compare a conventional backpack to an ultra-lightweight kit & develop a critical eye to eliminate pounds of weight using The Gear Spread & The Lightpacker Spread Sheet & Shake Down. This new paradigm talk is for everyone, from the newbie to the world traveler. You’ll have a fresh perspective reducing your base weight and substantially improving your travel experience in—well-being, versatility, adaptability, spontaneity, freedom, cost, enjoyment, & trip preparation.
Finally—choose your own adventure—decide on the next ultra-lightweight maker workshops we want to explore like—Gear Modifications, Bio-Hack Travel, Travel & Trail Food, ULW Clothing & Footwear, MYOG: Make Your Own Gear, Women’s Travel, Backpacker Film Critiques…
Andrew’s been making ultra-light-weight travel gear for 24 years— most recently in Colorado. At 19, he began making his own gear & traveled the world testing it in cities & the wild. Along the way he studied under fashion masters, reaching the top in men’s suit tailoring working in London’s world-famous Savile Row & Florence, Italy’s Via Tornabuoni, as well as in Italian women’s fashion.
