Creative Clay Creations
Dive into the world of clay at our Creative Clay Creations Camp! Each session, students will explore the endless possibilities of stoneware clay to create functional and decorative pottery. With handbuilding techniques your child’s imagination truly has no bounds here.
Throughout the week, our young artists will learn various techniques including extruding, slab building, texturizing, and pinch pottery. Under the guidance of an experienced potter, students will use underglazes and glazes to add vibrant colors and finishes to their creations. The camp is designed to foster creativity, improve fine motor skills, and introduce the fundamentals of ceramics in a fun, supportive environment.
Our camps are designed to be both fun and educational, with experienced instructors who are passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge with young people. We take great care to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child can feel valued and supported.
Ages 8+
4-Day Youth Camp | 3 hours a day
Monday – Thursday, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM each day
$220
Please note: Your child’s ceramics pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup approximately 10 days after camp. Alternatively, you can opt for the convenience of having their pieces shipped to you for a small shipping and handling fee.
Class 4 minimum/6 maximum participants – (please note: if attendance does not meet minimum, class will be rescheduled)

About The Facilitator
Yvon Dockter
One of our ORIGINAL members, Yvon brings her wildly creative self to the Ceramics area. She’s taught a number of classes including Raku, which is a special love of hers. You can see her work throughout the Forge.
Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.
Cancellation Policy
Please review our cancellation policy before booking. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us at least 7 days before the class start time to receive a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.
