Prerequisite: Must have attended and completed these three qualification classes before attending the CNC Wood Router Class: Gray Laser Cutter, 3D Printer, & Woodshop Level 1 Qualification Classes

Who’s This Class For
- Members: Aspiring to become qualified to use the Woodshop CNC Router independently at The Curious Forge.
- Anyone: Interested in learning and safely integrating a Wood CNC Router into their own creative projects or personal workshops.
Class Structure
Prior to Attending:
- Prerequisite: Must have attended and completed these three qualification classes before attending the CNC Wood Router Class: Gray Laser Cutter, 3D Printer, & Woodshop Level 1 Qualification Classes
Prior to Attending:
- Please complete Online Learning Materials: Access and review the Woodshop learning materials and videos provided to you upon purchase of the class.
2-Day Class: Interactive Workshop (4 hours per day)
- Introduction to CNC Wood Router
- Hands-On Training: Safely operate our Wood CNC machinge, including setup, handling, and troubleshooting.
Online Assessment:
- Complete Quizzes: Take online quizzes until you achieve at least a 90% score (unlimited attempts allowed).
- Optional for Public Participants: If you’re not planning getting qualified to use The Forge’s equipment, these quizzes are optional.
Practicum: Qualification Assessment (2 hour) scheduled within 2 weeks of class
- For Forge Members: Demonstrate your proficiency and confidence in using the Woodshop equipment independently.
- Optional for Public Participants: If you’re not planning to use The Forge’s equipment, the practicum is optional.
- Scheduling: The practicum is scheduled individually with the facilitator and must be completed within 2 weeks of the class for qualification.
Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.
Cancellation Policy
Please review our cancellation policy before booking. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us at least 7 days before the class start time to receive a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.
