How do I ensure the equipment I want to use will be available before I drive to the Forge?
Before coming into the space, it’s always good to check if a class, club or skillshare will be taking place in the studio you wish to use. These events take priority over the equipment in the studio. The studio will still be open for members, however you must respect the event and check in before making noise or using a piece of equipment. In general it’s best to avoid using a studio when a class is happening, as they may be using most all of the equipment in the space. Check the calendar with the link below:
During regular hours when a class, club or skillshare isn’t taking place, most equipment is available on a first come, first serve basis for members. Some equipment with high usage does require a reservation, please check the “Do I need to reserve equipment?” drop down for details.
Do I need to reserve equipment?
Most equipment at the Forge does not require a reservation and is available on a first come, first serve basis. Some high-usage equipment that needs a long run time does require a reservation, such as the Laser Cutters, and a few others. You can find more information, and the reservation form below.

How do I access the online Qualification Courses?
Currently, the online class system is only used for Qualification Courses in the following studios: Blacksmithing, Metal, Textiles, Glass Fusing, Glass Flameworking, Jewelry, Laser Cutting, and 3D Printing.
If you’re taking one of these Qualifications and you’re unsure how to access the course, please head to the course invites page within your account to access the course, linked below. After you’re on the course invite page, click the orange button next to the course you want to access – this should load the course.
How do I update my interests?
If your interests have changed and you’d like to receive updates about the happenings in different studios, please fill out the form linked below!
I’d like to teach a class. How do I go about that?
Fantastic! You can fill out the form below to let us know of your idea. Facilitating is not only open to members, so if you know someone else not currently involved at The Forge who may be interested, feel free to send them the linked for as well!
