Class Structure
- Prior to Attending:
- Online Learning Materials: Review the online learning and training resources made available to you when you purchase the class.
- Day 1: Interactive Workshop (2.5 hours)
- Introduction to 3D Printing: Learn the fundamentals and explore various applications.
- Hands-On Training: Operate the Bambu Lab 3D printers, including setup, printing, and troubleshooting.
- Digital Fab Lab Overview: Discover how the Digital Fab Lab is organized and how to make the most of its resources.
- Day 2: Practical Assessment (30-45 minutes)
- For Members Only: Demonstrate your proficiency and confidence in using the 3D printers independently.
- Optional for Non-Members: If you’re not planning to use The Forge’s printers, the practicum is optional.

About The Facilitator

Peter Traugot
Peter spent over 30 years in the software industry. These days you can find him modeling and printing 3D objects, teaching CAD, helping improve our community ecosystem through Master Gardeners, or building houses with Habitat for Humanity.
Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.
Cancellation Policy
Please review our cancellation policy before booking. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us at least 7 days before the class start time to receive a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.
