Hot Links: The Art of Glass Chains
Step up to the torch for a beginner-friendly introduction to the playful, sculptural world of handmade glass chains. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore how heat and simple tools can transform molten glass into interlocking links — and ultimately into a wearable or decorative chain piece that is entirely your own.
Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, you’ll learn how to safely shape, connect, and finish glass links at the torch. We’ll cover flame safety, glass handling, heat control, shaping techniques, and simple design choices — everything you need to work confidently and create something you’re proud of.
No prior glass experience is needed. This class is designed for curious beginners, artists looking to try something new, and anyone excited by the magic of working with fire and glass.

- Price: $50 class fee + $35 materials = $85 total
- Ages: Adults and Teens 14+
- Class Size: Minimum 2 / Maximum 6 participants
What to wear: Wear close-toe shoes. Natural fiber clothing is required at the torch, long pants (cotton, wool, or linen — no synthetics). If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie.
