Intro to Stained Glass. Level 1 – Straight Cuts
Experience the art of stained glass in this beginner-friendly workshop! Join us to craft a small suncatcher using vibrant glass pieces in this class with Charne Morris. No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm!
What You’ll Learn:
- Basics of stained glass art
- How glass behaves and the creation process
- Selecting and cutting glass pieces
- Creating a stained glass suncatcher using the copper foil method and soldering techniques
Details:
- Duration: 3 hours
- Price: $79 class fee + plus additional material fee $20 is required during class. Payment to the facilitator can be made using cash or Venmo.
- Ages: Adults and 16+
- Participants: Minimum of 3, maximum of 6 (Class will be rescheduled if minimum attendance is not met) Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.

About The Facilitator
Charne Morris
Charne is a self-taught glass artist living in Auburn, CA, working with stained glass since 2017, and is well versed in the Tiffany/copper foil method. Last year, she turned her hobby into her business when she started selling pieces commercially online and at regional craft and maker markets.
