The Creative Labyrinth: Nature & Creativity Bookmaking
Fold, Form, Discover
Description
This immersive workshop invites participants into bookmaking as a creative and reflective journey.
Using creative folded book structures, natural materials, and guided creativity practices, participants are introduced to a process that blends hands-on making with personal exploration. Each book becomes more than an object—it becomes a container for thought, intuition, and meaning.
Rather than focusing on traditional bookbinding techniques, this workshop emphasizes accessible folded forms that allow for both completion and creative freedom. Participants will create three unique handmade books while exploring a deeper connection to their own creative voice.
Over four sessions, participants will:
- Create three folded books using simple, elegant structures
- Explore guided creativity and metacognitive drawing exercises
- Incorporate natural elements, textures, and personal symbolism
- Work in a supportive, non-judgmental environment that encourages experimentation and self-expression
4-session Workshop | 3 hours each
$270
Ages: Adults and Teens 15+
Each session weaves together making and reflection, inviting participants to fold, form, and discover in their own way and at their own pace.
Participants will complete three folded books and leave with creative practices they can continue using beyond the workshop.
No prior bookmaking or art experience is necessary.
All materials are thoughtfully provided and included in the workshop fee.
Minimum 4/ Maximum 6 participants. (please note, if this workshop does not meet the minimum participants, we will reschedule)
