Fall into some Autumn Fun Making a festive Witches Hat Ceramic Luminary with Candy Tkachenko at The Curious Forge!
In this two-day workshop, you will form a slab of clay into a cone form and complete it with decoration and holes for the light of a tea candle to shine and twinkle through. Learn fun hand-building techniques, decorate your ceramic luminary with stamps and imprints, holes and balls! Let your imagination soar. In the second class we will glaze with beautiful colors, then your luminary will be kiln-fired and ready for pick up in about one week.
Your luminary will be ready for pickup after it has been kiln-fired the next week before the holiday, or you can opt for the convenience of having your masterpiece shipped to you for a small shipping and handling fee.

About The Facilitator

Candy Tkachenko
Candy is originally from the San Joaquin Valley and Lake County. She has taught in the public school system for 35 years. Candy has taught basic hand-building techniques to her primary students providing basic exposure to ceramics. Candy is currently retired, enjoys her 3 beautiful grandchildren, and loves spending time doing ceramics and crafts.
Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.
Cancellation Policy
Please review our cancellation policy before booking. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us at least 7 days before the class start time to receive a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.
