Flameworking Implosion Marbles –
Prerequisite: prior flameworking class or experience
Discover the magic hidden inside molten glass.
In this flameworking series, participants will dive into the mesmerizing world of implosion marbles—where heat, gravity, and precision come together to create intricate 3D designs suspended inside solid glass. Working on the torch, you’ll learn how to carefully control molten glass as surface designs are drawn inward, forming layered, dimensional patterns within a perfectly shaped marble.
Across three hands-on sessions, you’ll explore multiple implosion styles while refining your heat control, shaping skills, and surface decoration techniques. This class is both technical and awe-inspiring, offering plenty of “how did that just happen?” moments as glass seemingly moves on its own.

Class Details
- Skill Level: prior flameworking class or experience required
- Format: 3-session series | 3 hours per session
- Dates: Saturdays — 3/7, 3/14, and 3/21
- Time: 1:00–4:00 PM
- Ages: Adults & Teens 12+
- Class Size: Maximum of 6 participants
- Price: $225 + $60 materials fee

- Please wear natural fiber clothing (cotton, wool, etc.)

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the annealing process, your glass creations made will be ready for pick-up at The Forge the following day, or you can opt for mail delivery for a small shipping and handling fee.
Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.
Cancellation Policy
Please review our cancellation policy before booking. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us at least 7 days before the class start time to receive a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.
