Soldering 102 is a full-day class to continue learning and practicing basic soldering skills for jewelry making, and the perfect jumping off point for those with prior soldering experience, or who have completed Soldering 101. In this 6 1/2-hour class you will learn additional skills of torch soldering using propane/oxygen torches. Working in silver, copper, and brass, (sheet and wire), we will cover more essential techniques, including soldering wire posts for rivets or earrings, ring and bezel soldering, and jump rings.
Join Karen Olsen Ramsey and her warm, light-hearted instruction as she guides you through the detailed properties of jewelry-making metals, soldering safety, and multiple soldering techniques. We will complete several simple projects, and you will walk away with the skills and confidence to complete more complex jewelry projects in the future.
