Description
The Creative Labyrinth — Layers of Meaning: An Intentional Collage Journey
Sundays, September 20 & 27
Noon–3:00 p.m.
$160
Discover the art of collage as a meaningful creative practice in this two-part workshop inspired by the principles of Intentional Creativity®.
Rather than simply arranging images on a page, you’ll create a layered, mixed-media collage/assemblage that reflects your own story, interests, memories, and aspirations. We’ll begin with a playful “Noticing Basket” experience to help you uncover a personal intention for your collage. From there, you’ll gather images, words, textures, and found materials that resonate with you, learning collage techniques and basic design principles along the way.
Between sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to collect photographs, handwritten notes, meaningful papers, and other personal treasures you’d like to incorporate into your artwork, making your finished collage a unique expression of what matters most to you.
No previous art experience is necessary. Susan will provide a wide variety of papers, images, and collage materials, along with gentle guidance throughout the process.
Participants are encouraged to bring any personal items they’d like to include during the second session.
Come explore the creative possibilities of mixed-media collage/assemblage and discover how meaningful it can be to create with intention, curiosity, and imagination.
All materials are provided.
Ages: Adults + Teens 15+
Participants: Minimum 3 / Maximum 8
