About The Facilitator

Jacqueline Michie
Jacqueline first learned the craft of millinery in college at the Academy of Art San Francisco. Upon graduating, she received an internship to study with Philip Treacy in London. She spent time in New York learning from the only couture qualified milliner in the United States, Anya Caliendo. After those adventures she found herself in Nevada County making American western style hats. A decade plus later in the area, after having hat store in Grass Valley for 3 years and becoming a mother, she finds the most joy teaching others the craft and sharing all the knowledge she’s learned in the past 14 years of hat making.
