If you are an artist wanting to explore 3D metal art, need ranch repairs, or are a tinkerer wishing to add the strength and rigidity that metal offers, this is the workshop for you. Learn Welding Basics in this MIG Welding Class. No experience is necessary.
New Expanded Content. This is a two-session class. 8 hours total instruction (must attend both days)
You will walk away with confidence in using MIG welding equipment, understanding safety protocols, setting up your workspace, and completing projects at home.
This workshop is MIG Welding Qualification for Members. For member qualification, please arrange to complete a practicum with the facilitator and take the quiz after completing this course.

- Safety equipment, safe practices, equipment selection
- Equipment setup and joint prep
- Material identification and preparation
- Troubleshooting common problems
- Distortion mitigation strategies
- All equipment provided.

Minimum participants required: 4 | Maximum: 6 (Please note: If the minimum participant count of 4 is not met, this class will be postponed to a later date.)
Price: $255 & $30 materials
Please note: All classes require a minimum number of participants and may be rescheduled if that minimum is not met. If this happens, we’ll let you know in advance and work with you to get you into the next available class.
